Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-02
Who we are
pethere.org is an independent local directory of pet services. We are not a party to any transaction or service agreement between a pet owner and a pet-service provider.
What you can do
- Browse listings and submit booking inquiries to providers.
- Submit first-party reviews of providers you have actually used.
- Claim a listing if you are the provider and control the email on file.
What you must NOT do
- Submit reviews for providers you have not used, or post defamatory, profane, or off-topic content. Such reviews will be hidden.
- Scrape the site beyond the documented public API (/api/v1/providers). Automated requests beyond reasonable limits may be rate-limited or blocked.
- Impersonate a provider you do not own.
- Submit booking inquiries you do not intend to fulfil; spam will result in IP block.
Provider listings
Listings may be created from public information before the provider claims them. Once a provider claims and edits a listing, the provider is responsible for accuracy. We may remove listings that are clearly inactive or fraudulent.
Featured placement
Featured-listing fees are paid via Stripe. Refunds are available pro-rated within 14 days of purchase. Chargebacks immediately freeze the provider's dashboard until resolved.
No agency, no warranty
pethere.org does not vet providers beyond surface-level public information. We are not responsible for the conduct, quality, safety, or outcome of any service rendered by any listed provider. You contract with providers at your own risk.
Liability
Use of pethere.org is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, pethere.org and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the services of any listed provider.
Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account by emailing privacy@pethere.org.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes
We will update the "last updated" date above when these terms change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
