What we collect

  • Booking inquiries — name, email, pet type, dates, message. Submitted by you when you click "Request booking" on a provider page.
  • Reviews — your authenticated email (via magic link), rating, body text, optional photos and receipts.
  • Provider data — business name, contact info, services. Either from public sources or submitted by the provider via the claim flow.
  • Analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics records page views, country, browser, and Core Web Vitals. No cookies. No personal identifiers.

How we use it

  • Booking inquiries are forwarded by email to the listed provider only. We do not share them with third parties.
  • Reviews are public on the provider's listing page.
  • Provider contact info is public on the listing page.
  • Analytics is aggregated; individual sessions cannot be identified.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not run ad tracking or third-party analytics that fingerprint you.
  • We do not store payment card details — Stripe handles all payment processing.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@pethere.org. We aim to respond within 14 days.

EU residents: this notice serves as our GDPR transparency obligation. California residents: this notice serves as our CCPA disclosure.

Data location

User data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) hosted in the United States. Page hosting and analytics run on Cloudflare's global network.

Reviews and content moderation

We may hide reviews that contain profanity, defamation, or off-topic content. Hidden reviews remain in our database but are not shown publicly. We do not delete reviews; this preserves audit trail and allows the original author to dispute the moderation decision.

Changes

We will update the "last updated" date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the homepage for 30 days.
